Turn the key

Turn the key and behold my friend,
Such a world as imagination could not foresee,

Timidly you approach that formidable door,
Not fully knowing what treasures lie in wait,

Double checking to see who is watching this feat,
Your heart is pounding like drums beckoning war,

What is behind this door, you must see,
Your life would be made adventurous by this,

Should you unlock this door you shall embark,
On a journey’s road few dare to tread,

Take the courage of warriors and go through,
Have faith and keep it as you trod on,

Do not keep fear as your one companion,
Its company is not suiting to adventures,

Instead, force yourself to breath fresh air,
Look what you fear in the face and believe,

To explore what has been left still for too long,
Turn the key, open, and behold your road.
